Coconut Candy
1 lb. Angel Flake coconut
1 lb. chopped pecans (2 c. nutmeats)
1 1/2 box powdered sugar
1 1/2 sticks margarine
1 can Eagle Brand milk
1 tsp. vanilla
Mix coconut, pecans and powdered sugar. Melt the margarine. Add the milk and
vanilla. Pour over coconut mixture. Then roll in ball and pat in greased pan.
Chill 3 hours or longer. Cut in squares. Melt 1 bag chocolate chips (2 cups) and
1 square parawax (paraffin wax) in double boiler. Dip coconut pieces in it.
Makes 5 pounds.
