Old Fashioned Potpourri

2 pt. dried rose petals
1 pt. dried rose geranium leaves
1 pt. dried lavender flowers
1 c. dried rosemary needles
1 c. dried carnation flowers
3 Tbsp. crushed orrisroot and powdered bum benzoin
20 drops essential oil of rose
5 drops essential oil of sandalwood

Store mixture in an airtight jar or bottle for about two months. Once the scents have blended, sew the finished potpourri into lacy bags or make sachets and hang in closets or tuck away in drawers.
