Frozen Fruit Frappe
4 bananas
1 pt. fresh strawberries
1 Tbsp. lemon juice
1 Tbsp. frozen apple juice concentrate
mint leaves (optional)
Place bananas in their skins into the freezer for several hours, until frozen.
Rinse strawberries. Remove hulls
and freeze in a single layer on a flat pan. Remove bananas and set aside for a
few minutes until skins slip off with ease. Place frozen bananas, frozen
berries, lemon juice and apple juice concentrate into a food processor. Puree at
high speed. Mixture will resemble soft ice cream. Serve at once. Serves 4 at 128
calories each.
