Spooky Spiders
2 pkg. unflavored gelatin
1 (3 oz.) blackberry gelatin
2 c. boiling water
licorice whips
Stir unflavored gelatin with dry blackberry gelatin in a medium bowl. Pour in
boiling water and stir until gelatin is completely dissolved. Pour into 9-inch
pan. Chill until firm. Cut into circles using a 2-inch biscuit cutter for the
body, and a 1/2-inch cutter for head. Remove with a spatula. Attach licorice
whips, cut into 2-inch lengths for legs and 1-inch lengths for antennae. These
do not melt at room temperature.
Makes 9 spiders.
