me, Tracy Brown. You are free to make any of these cakes yourself, either an
exact copy or with any changes you see fit to make. You can also print out a
copy of the picture for your own reference. HOWEVER, you are not free to use the
photos of my cakes on another website without identifying them as mine, with a

That's just not nice.

My first attempt at a "Whimsy" cake! The cakes are baked normally, filled & stacked normally, then trimmed so that the bottom is smaller than the top. I cut an angle off of the bottom of both cakes so that I would still have a nice top to frost, since I use buttercream icing rather than fondant. The cake was for our Niece, and when she told me what she wanted for this birthday it was very like last year's cake. SO, I had to 'tweak' her idea a bit, hence the Whimsy effect. She loved it, after she got over the initial shock.
Lesson learned on this cake (there's at least one on every cake, it seems): Should have let the top cake lean a bit more to the right, so the beveling was more obvious.
