That's just not nice.
I saw the instructions to do this Baby Blankie cake in a old issue of American Cake Decorating magazine, and was happy to finally get a baby shower order to use it! You do a basketweave 'blanket' on several thicknesses (3-4 layers is good) of plastic wrap, then lift the whole thing & drape it over the baby. Add a small shell border to hide the plastic edges and a few flowers, and Voila!- A really cute cake! Here's a couple more pics for you:
