How to refine & focus your searching~~~

"The text search engine allows queries to be formed from arbitrary Boolean expressions containing the keywords AND, OR, and NOT, and grouped with parentheses." For example:

If you type into the search box-
chocolate cake
The search engine will-
Find documents containing the words 'chocolate' or 'cake'

If you type into the search box-
chocolate or cake
The search engine will-
find documents containing the words 'chocolate or cake', same as above

If you type into the search box-
chocolate and cake
The search engine will-
Find documents containing both the words 'chocolate & cake'

If you type into the search box-
cake not chocolate
The search engine will-
Find documents containing 'cake' but not 'chocolate'

If you type into the search box-
(cake not chocolate) and banana
The search engine will-
Find documents containing 'banana', plus 'cake' but not 'chocolate'
