Easy Truffles

Recipe from JoAnn Nuetzel, MD- given as a handout at the 2005 ICES convention

1- 14 oz. package Oreo cookies
1- 8 oz. package cream cheese, softened
Candy coatings, like Wilton Candy Melts (she suggests white)

Crush cookies finely, add cream cheese & mix well. Shape into bite-sized balls (about 1") & place on a cookie sheet; cover with plastic wrap & refrigerate overnight. Melt coatings & dip truffles. Serve in candy cups.
