Beef Stroganoff
(From my Aunt Margie, my Mom's sister)
1 round steak, cut into strips about 4" long & 1/2" thick
Coat steak strips with Wondra flour that has some salt & pepper mixed in. Brown in a skillet with vegetable oil or shortening. Drain on paper towels. When browned, put into a large saucepot the has enough water to cover & then a bit, 2 beef bullion cubes & some chopped onions. Simmer till beef is tender. Before serving, add a can (or 2) of cream of mushroom soup, and an 8 oz. carton of sour cream. Heat through. Serve over white rice.
