Fudge Sundae Pie


1/4 C. corn syrup........................1/4 C. peanut butter

2 T. packed brown sugar.............1/4 C. fudge sauce for ice cream

3 T. margarine or butter...............3 T. corn syrup

2-1/2 C. crisp rice cereal.............1 quart vanilla ice cream

Combine the 1/4 C. corn syrup, brown sugar & margarine in a medium size saucepan. Cook over low heat, stirring occasionally, until mixture begins to boil. Remove from heat; stir in cereal. Mix till well coated. Press evenly into a 9" pie plate to form crust.

Stir together peanut butter, fudge sauce, and the remaining corn syrup. Spread half this mixture over crust & freeze till firm. Store the other half tightly covered till serving.

Allow ice cream to soften slightly. Spoon into frozen piecrust & peanut butter mixture, spreading evenly. Freeze until firm. Let pie stand at room temperature for about 10 minutes before cutting.. Warm the remaining peanut butter mixture & drizzle over the top.
