Toll House Fudge
1-1/2 C. sugar
2/3 C. evaporated milk
2 T. butter or margarine
1/4 t. salt
2 C. mini marshmallows
1-1/2 C. Toll House Semi-sweet Morsels (or 1-3/4 C. Milk Morsels)
1/2 C. chopped pecans or walnuts (optional)
1 t. vanilla
In a medium heavy-duty saucepan, combine sugar, milk, butter & salt. Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring constantly. Boil, stirring constantly, for 4-5 minutes; remove from heat. Stir in marshmallows, morsels, nuts & vanilla. Stir vigorously for 1 minute, or until marshmallows are melted. Pour into an 8" square baking pan lined with foil; refrigerate for 2 hours or until firm. Lift from pan, remove foil & cut into pieces.
